Since 1983 the Washington Service Corps has helped residents serve their community. Making it a better, stronger place all while providing important job skills. The minimum monthly stipend is $1,676, however members can earn more depending on the position they are serving in.
Need money for College?
Full-time Service Corps members earn a $6,895 education credit that can be used to attend college or help pay down already existing student loans. Many in state schools will also add extra money to this credit. The member must complete their service to receive this benefit.
